Editorials.

A photo story with a magazine feel.

Editorials aren't individual images but stories told in pictures — photo series with an idea, a narrative stance, an artistic ambition.

When planning an editorial series I ask two questions with you: what do we want the series to express? And what should it set off in the people who see it? Once the answers are in place, half the work is done — with editorials, structured planning is what matters most.

After that it's produced like a small campaign: casting, styling, location and make-up artists are tuned to the concept, and we shoot in one or several stages. Everything feeds into the same idea — that's what separates a series from a loose collection of pretty pictures.

Over the past few years I've realised several editorial series with models, make-up artists and designers. If the series is strong, it also stands a chance of being published in a recognised fashion magazine.

If you have an idea for a series of your own, or would like to develop one together — write to me, and we'll start with a concept and a moodboard.

How it works

  1. 01Develop the concept and moodboard together.
  2. 02Casting, stylings, location, make-up artists — all tuned to the concept.
  3. 03Shooting in one or several stages.
  4. 04Image selection, retouching, finished series.
  5. 05Optional: submission to a magazine.

What it costs

Editorials are involved — costs depend on scope, casting and production depth. Write to me with your idea, and I'll put together a concrete quote.
