Sedcards.

Telling images for your modelling portfolio.

Sedcards are the tool modelling agencies in particular use to decide whether to invite you to a casting. They're not there to stage you, but to make you readable — height, proportions, face, expression, in several variations.

My approach follows an old principle: less is more. No elaborate outfits, no dramatic posing, no loud make-up. What's left is the person — and that's exactly what we're after.

Beforehand we clarify who these images are for — agencies, or you personally to build your image — because the requirements differ. The studio is the default; for more fashion- and editorial-leaning shots we can also shoot outdoors. Delivered in whatever format and resolution suit the intended purpose.

If you've never stood in front of a camera, I'll explain the poses sedcards are usually shot in, and we'll build your portfolio step by step.

How it works

  1. 01Beforehand: clarify which agency or agencies, which type, which style.
  2. 02In the studio (the default) or outdoors (for more fashion-/editorial-leaning purposes).
  3. 03Pared-back styling, subtle make-up, several pose setups.
  4. 04We choose the images together, then comes the retouching.
  5. 05You get the final sedcard images in the format and resolution you need.
